Yan Li, Chinese teacher of Kwong Kow Chinese School, who is in charge    of the prestigious Accelerated Chinese Class of Kwong Kow Chinese School. Her students range between beginning to intermediate levels. Her class is an easy and enjoyable way to learn Mandarin Chinese. Encouraging her students to use Chinese effectively is her ultimate goal.

In addition to the commonly used and officially recognized Mandarin language, Li also teaches a number of economically used simplified Chinese words about daily communication, business, and travel, etc. Li is experienced at teaching Pinyin, Chinese words and help students understand Chinese sentence structure. Her advanced students can write short articles in Chinese.

Li graduated from Heilongjiang University, and spent more than seven years teaching Chinese at a locally renowned public school in Heilongjiang, China. Her theses about teaching won the second and third prize in Heilongjiang Province. In America, Li contributes to a few different programs to teach Chinese.
