KKCS currently offers Afterschool Program, Weekend Program, Summer Program, & Continuing Education Program. All of which consist of very rich Chinese Language and Chinese Culture courses while integrating some core Western education courses into the curriculum. Students range from Kindergarten through all ages.
Summer Programs
Serving more than 200 students every year, KKCS Summer Program combines indoor and outdoor, academic and activity learning together for students ages 5-14. KKCS has started to run its Summer Program since 1990. Children in the Summer Program are able to explore their creativity through a comprehensive and holistic pedagogy which integrates the Eastern and the Western culture together. KKCS innovative curriculum for its Summer Program mainly consists of three parts: academic classes in the morning, cultural and outdoor activities in the afternoon, and club activities after 4:30 pm during the parent pick-up period. Specifically, the curricula include Chinese theme-based fun language learning; Chinese culture – Chinese history, geography, music, Chinese drum, dance, visual art, Chinese martial arts, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese traditional holiday celebrations and Chinese customs etc.; English, math, science, science for girls, violin etc. Summer program in KKCS also provides some outdoor activities such as community boating, swimming, sports, museums, library, field trips, etc.. The program starts from 9 am and ends at 6:00 pm. Free breakfast, lunch, and a KKCS T-shirt will be provided to students.

2011 Summer Program "Bridging China and the World"
We are excited to announce our outstanding 2011 Summer Program for your children! If you are a returning “KKCSer”, you know that we try to pack as many fun activities as possible. If your children have never attended our summer program, please do not miss this opportunity and join our big and cool KKCS family. We aim to provide your children the best summer with high quality of academic studies, and fun and challenging indoor and outdoor activities. We focus on your children’s intellectual, physical, emotional and social development. This year, at our Summer Program your children will study Mandarin, English, Math, and Science and have a wide selection of elective courses: Abacus, Chinese Drums, Violin, Advanced Violin, String Orchestra, Marching Band, Guitar, Kungfu, Swimming, Ping-Pong, Yo-Yo, Dance, Calligraphy, Arts and Crafts. Every Friday, your children can choose to attend different clubs, including Kung Fu, Cooking, Dance, Fashion, Arts & Crafts, Logic etc. We also have field trips to museums, parks, libraries, etc. In addition, we have designed SAT Intensive Class and ISEE/MCAS Intensive Class to prepare your children with the tests, and Creative Writing to help your children develop interests in writing. Our Summer Program will start on July 5 and end on August 26, 9am to 6pm, Monday through Friday. You can also sign up for early drop-off between 8:00am and 8:45am. We encourage parents to register our summer program as soon as possible due to our limited spaces. Those who register before May.15 for more than four weeks will enjoy a 5% tuition discount.

Afterschool Program
Our Afterschool Program runs from 3 pm to 6 pm, Monday through Friday, and provides homework help, Chinese Mandarin Classes, Chinese Cantonese Classes, and a series of various Chinese Culture clubs and activities to all the students. We also offer our students healthy free snacks everyday. All the classes are taken care of by one experienced adult homeroom teacher and two to three TA's, most of whom are college students. For students who are newly immigrated to the US and need help with their oral or written English, we organize small classes for them which are taught by native English speaking teachers. From Spring, 2010, every Friday afternoon, we have five Chinese Culture clubs for the students to attend, including Martial Arts Club, Cooking Club, Arts and Crafts Club, Chinese Classic Works Recitation Club, and Story Telling Club. We will also organize a Chinese Cultural Day & Students’ Birthday Party at the end of each month.

Weekend Programs
Weekend Programs includes Chinese language, Chinese culture, English and Math, and Western music. Specifically, we have Chinese Mandarin Classes, Chinese Cantonese Classes for students from Kindergarten to Grade 9, all of which are taught by very experienced and highly qualified native Chinese speaking teachers. We also offer numerous Chinese Culture Classes, including Chinese Drum and Dulcimer Class, Chinese Painting Class, Chinese Traditional Dance Class, and Chinese Martial Arts Class. From Fall, 2009, we collaborated with Newton Learning Center to hold “G-Age English and Math Program” to meet the needs students who need help with their MCAS, ISEE, and SAT I & SAT II (For more details, please click here). Meanwhile, KKCS cooperated with the Ip Piano School to hold the Violin class to serve the students who are interested in the Western music since September, 2009.
While parents are awaiting their children, they could attend some of the free programs we organized for them. For example, we have an English conversation lecture led by an English native speaker.
